- Patient Preparation: Verify patient information, record medical history, confirm medications and allergies, and document the purpose of each visit.
- Clinic Operations: Maintain a smooth clinic environment by rooming patients, completing DME/casts, cleaning exam and waiting rooms, and stocking rooms.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare patients for examination, order physical tests/x-rays, interact with other departments for resources, maintain accurate notes and records, and maintain patient dignity and confidentiality.
- Specialized Tasks: Remove sutures and staples (as appropriate), prepare injectable medications, assist with US-guided procedures, dressings, cast application, measuring and fitting orthopedic braces, and fabricating and applying splints and bandages.
