2. **Customer Service**: Upholding high standards of service in all interactions with Veterans and their families.
3. **Reporting and Documentation**: Accurately documenting changes in the Veteran's condition and care provided.
4. **Safety**: Recognizing and responding to urgent care situations, initiating appropriate interventions as necessary.
5. **Education**: Providing education to Veterans and their families regarding care plans and health management.
Essential Duties
- Proficiently executing assigned nursing tasks, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Observing and documenting any physical or emotional changes in the Veteran's condition, promptly reporting to the RN or provider.
- Engaging with Veterans and their families to address care needs and promote understanding of treatment plans.
Work Schedule
The position requires flexibility with shifts, including day and night rotations, along with weekends and holidays.
