Strategic IT Leadership Opportunity

Lifespace Communities is seeking an experienced IT professional to serve as the Manager of Community Technology. This critical role involves overseeing the technical health and stability of assigned communities, ensuring high levels of resident and team member satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing IT services, delivering exceptional customer service, and providing technical training to staff and residents. They will be responsible for handling customer expectations, identifying gaps between customer needs and IT capabilities, and finding innovative solutions to bridge those gaps.

This key position also entails vendor management, where the successful candidate will coordinate with vendors to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, holding them accountable for Service Level Agreements (SLAs). They will own and facilitate timely root cause analysis for community-level severity 1 and 2 outages, including follow-up communication to affected team members and/or residents.

A key aspect of this role is gaining a deep understanding of the technical infrastructure at all communities, including core applications, network connectivity, Wi-Fi capabilities, and service issues. The Manager of Community Technology will lead local project efforts for community technical improvements and contribute to enterprise-wide IT initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business preferred.
  • Five to eight years of IT infrastructure experience with demonstrated progression of skills and responsibilities.
  • Advanced Professional Certification (e.g., MCDT, MCSE).
  • Experience providing IT support in the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to work in an environment providing 24x7x365 support to our communities.

We offer competitive compensation, including a salary range of $81,600 - $114,900 per year, depending on experience. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $95,000-$105,000, based on average U.S. salaries for similar positions.
