We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice in Portland, ME. As a leading provider of physical medicine services, we utilize advanced regenerative therapies to treat acute and chronic pain and injuries.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedics, with a preference for those who have performed joint injections and have expertise in musculoskeletal conditions. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive exams, consultations, and procedures such as joint and trigger point injections.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Patient Exams and Consultations: Comprehensive orthopedic/musculoskeletal evaluations, including HPI, physical exams, and review of pertinent medical records/imaging/reports
  2. Evaluate Clinical Data
  3. Order and Review Appropriate Tests/Imaging/Records
  4. Diagnosis and Treatment Plan Formulation
  5. Patient Education on Diagnosis and Treatment Options
  6. Consultation with Supervisory Physicians as Needed
  7. Documentation: Timely and Accurate
  8. Treatments: Joint and Trigger Point Injections (Training Provided)
  9. Assist in Patient Care Management

Requirements

  • Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
  • PA/NP License in ME
  • Experience in Joint and Trigger Point Injections Preferred
  • Orthopedic/Physical Med and Rehab or Family Medicine Background Preferred
