Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that reflects observations and assessments of individual children and goals jointly developed with parents/guardians.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of children are met.
- Communication: Establish and maintain a primary caregiving relationship with individual children and their families, communicating regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and specific activities.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care for children, participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and other location events.
- Professional Development: Continuously update knowledge and skills in early childhood education, attending courses, asking for feedback, and reading professional literature.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is required; Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Experience: Must meet state experience requirements for Teacher; 12 months of professional teaching experience preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate curriculum practice, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong communication skills.
The compensation range for this position is $28.11-$31.73 per hour, depending on experience, education, and training.
