Nurse Practitioner

Mason Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a per-diem capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients
- Order laboratory studies and x-rays as necessary to inform patient care
- Perform routine laboratory and screening procedures, including collection of body fluid and tissue specimens
- Assess and interview patients to identify common development and behavioral problems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including problem lists, medication lists, and immunization records
- Promote health and disease prevention through age-specific interventions, including immunizations, counseling, and physical examinations
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities, as well as medical and general staff meetings
- Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics and maintain confidentiality
- Communicate a clear vision and direction to inspire and motivate team members
- Drive results by translating ideas into concrete actions and guiding others to achieve results
- Foster an environment of trust and integrity by modeling openness and inclusiveness
- Build and maintain relationships by demonstrating the ability to build alignment and commitment within and across functions
- Manage change by developing plans and strategies to address current and future challenges and opportunities

- Demonstrate effective management skills by executing management tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program
- Minimum two years' experience in Family Medicine preferred
- Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employment
- DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority
- Board certified by the time of employment
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
