Job Summary

The ABC and LOL Child Care Center and Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our diverse student population.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and center policies.
  • Supervise and support teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Manage classroom resources, materials, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • High energy and a passion for working with young children and their families.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Associate's Degree in early childhood education or a related field of study, with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease, as well as to see, hear, and speak with clarity.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
