The Home Health Care Assistant provides personal care and emotional comfort to patients in their homes, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist. This role requires a high level of compassion, empathy, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Travel to patient homes and provide in-home care to assigned patients daily
  • Meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients

Requirements:

  • High School/GED
  • CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
  • Valid Drivers License in current status
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Phlebotomy Experience
