Responsibilities in Process Improvement encompass innovation in processes and products, alongside a focus on quality, safety, efficiency, standard productivity, and overall reduction in system costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Continuously enhance the quality standards of products within assigned processes, aiming to minimize defects to zero.
Develop comprehensive and precise process specifications.
Streamline processes to boost productivity, reduce energy consumption, maximize efficiency, and minimize overall system costs.
Identify and mitigate safety risks associated with the designated processes.
Accountable for any off-quality issues linked to processes and responsible for implementing corrective measures.
Drive innovation in processes and products.
The process improvement role should perpetually explore opportunities for new product development or modifications to existing processes to enhance product offerings.
Document all experimental trials and evaluations in a technical report format and effectively communicate findings to management.Collaborate with production management to ensure effective use of process monitoring and feedback systems, particularly employing statistical quality control methods.
Act as a liaison between manufacturing counterparts and suppliers/customers to understand the implications of any changes in raw materials and supplies on the final product delivered to customers.
Share joint responsibility for the development of new products with engineering teams and serve as a bridge between development and manufacturing.Job Type:
