Patient Care Technician, Women Services, Per Diem, Nights

As a Patient Care Technician in our Women Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support. This is a per diem position, working nights, and requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and support, including vital signs, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene
- Assist healthcare team with simple procedures and prepare supplies and equipment
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas and clean clinic areas
- Assist with office duties, such as answering phones and taking messages
- Follow unit-specific policies and procedures and utilize job and unit-specific equipment
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent patient care
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional high pressure or emergent situations. You will be exposed to various environments, including communicable diseases, toxic substances, and medical preparations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided when necessary.
