Job Title: Registered Nurse II

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at the University Medical Center of El Paso. This is a full-time position responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

About the Role:

This Registered Nurse II will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care through the nursing process
  • Directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical standards
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote efficient patient care
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • The ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes
  • Techncial competence within the scope of practice as a Registered Nurse
Education and Experience:

A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required, preferably in an acute care setting. A current Texas RN license to practice and CPR training program certification are also necessary. Additionally, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or ATCN certifications may be required depending on the area of employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
