About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a skilled Return to Work Associate to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting injured workers, employers, and claims teams in navigating the return-to-work process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial evaluations and assessments via telephone calls to physicians and employers to determine the best course of action for return-to-work.
  • Evaluate the need for alternative return-to-work plans and coordinate related activities to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Support return-to-work and job accommodation processes, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional customer support to injured workers, physicians, employers, and claims teams, addressing their concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Gather and analyze return-to-work data from various sources, including providers, nurses, and return-to-work specialists, to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Resolve workers' compensation cases by applying current policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state laws and client program design.
  • Enter accurate and timely data into our claims management system, adhering to quality assurance standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
