Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Research Analyst to join our team at Group W. As a senior warfighting analyst, you will be responsible for developing and executing advanced analytical models and methods to support warfighting analyses from the engagement through campaign levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply mastery-level skills in advanced analytical, mathematical, or statistical techniques related to statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, simulation, decision theory, mathematical programming, and regression analysis.
  • Develop and execute mission and campaign-level representations, databases, and analyses of US, allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation.
  • Advise other operations research analysts, scientists, or engineers on techniques best suited for tasked problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Operations Research, Physics, Engineering, or an applied Science Discipline OR master's degree with 5 years' experience in lieu of.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • 5+ years' experience OR master's degree with:
    • 2 years' experience performing engagement/mission-level analysis using models such as AFSIM, Brawler, or EADSIM.
    • 3 years' experience in the analyses of management or operational problems, with the ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in operations research, Physics, Engineering, or an applied Science discipline.
  • 5 or more years' experience performing engagement/mission-level analysis using models such as AFSIM, Brawler, or EADSIM.
  • 10 or more years' experience in the analyses of management or operational problems, with the ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
  • Prior military experience at the theater or joint task force level conducting planning or performing operational assessments; experience with developing R scripts for pre-processing, post-processing, data analytics and data visualization.
  • Completion of professional military education at or above MEL-4.
