Job Title: Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN

LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN to join our team in Oregon City, Oregon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
