The DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team on a contingent night shift basis. As a member of our Patient Care Services Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Delegate tasks and supervise nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.
DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is a comprehensive heart center, cancer care, gerontology, emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, and cosmetic services provider. Our joint replacement program features revolutionary minimally invasive knee and hip replacement surgery, attracting patients from across the country.
We operate over 21 outpatient care sites and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties and are one of 10 hospitals in the nation to be awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to help set the standards of cardiac care for hospitals and physicians nationwide.
