Job Title: Senior P&C Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior P&C Business Analyst to join our team at VANTA PARTNERS Inc. This role requires a strong understanding of business issues and data challenges within the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical design sessions to define solutions and serve as a liaison between business and technology teams.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and documentation.
  • Investigate business needs, identify problems, and propose technological or business solutions.
  • Analyze and validate functional specifications to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Help stakeholders envision future processes and adapt to support upcoming changes.
  • Evaluate requirements from multiple sources, reconcile conflicting needs, and identify true requirements versus user 'wants.'
  • Produce detailed system requirements and documentation, including current and future state process flows, standard operating procedures, and use cases.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Prepare technical design documents to guide development teams in platform or application changes.
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant experience.
  • Experience documenting insurance products or similar industry offerings.
  • Direct experience in commercial property and casualty insurance is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in Business Analysis or related fields.
  • Project management certifications are a plus.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, with typical working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some extended hours or weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Occasional travel may be required for this position.
