Procurement Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate inventory levels and market demand for finished products and manufacturing supplies to inform purchasing strategies.
- Oversee the procurement of various goods and services.
- Ensure that products and services are acquired at optimal cost, quality, and delivery timelines to fulfill operational requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive records of purchase orders within the ERP system, including costs, timelines, quantities, and revisions.
- Establish and update supplier information in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and Engineering teams to foster and sustain supplier partnerships in alignment with company ISO standards.
- Complete necessary documentation in accordance with established company protocols.
- Coordinate with Logistics to facilitate the shipment of products from suppliers.
- Monitor and maintain supplier performance metrics for ongoing evaluation.
- Address and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and financial aspects with suppliers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct ad hoc reporting as required by the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or planning, or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge and skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
· Flexibility to adapt work practices and priorities as needed.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace, with a preference for Microsoft.
· Experience with MS Excel is essential.
· Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred, with SAP experience being advantageous.
· Capable of managing multiple tasks and working under pressure to achieve organizational goals.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
