Job Description

PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a talented individual to join our Finance & Realty Services organization as a Development Program Associate. This 12-month program provides hands-on experience in a professional environment, allowing you to explore your career goals and grow your skills in key areas.

The goal of this Development Program is to develop associates to assess and identify risks that could impede the strategic, reputation, operational, and/or financial success of the organization. You will rotate through four teams in two or more of the following areas:

Line of Business Support:

Provide strategic counsel, meaningful reporting, and analysis to revenue-generating lines of business to drive results.

Shared Services:

Manage critical processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis for teams across the organization.

Corporate Controller's Office:

Provide meaningful, accurate, reliable, and timely financial, regulatory, and risk information.

Other areas within Finance include Investor Relations, Enterprise Performance Analysis, Corporate Tax, and Mergers and Acquisitions.

You will work and network with finance professionals at various levels of the organization, gaining exposure in many different areas, including accounting, internal and external reporting, variance and profitability analyses, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, project management, risk management, disclosure requirements, economic and regulatory capital, internal control assessments, data analytics and modeling, and performance and valuation metrics.

Professional experience that satisfies the requirements of the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy can be provided to those who are interested in their CPA certification. Opportunities are also available for reimbursement of other professional certifications and degrees through PNC's education benefits.

Requirements:
  • Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Preferred business-relevant majors (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, and Business Analytics)
