Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students in a school setting, ensuring their academic and personal success.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations.
- Conduct screenings and provide consultations as needed.
- Stay informed about developments in speech-language pathology and implement best practices.
- Provide training and support to school staff on speech and language development.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Pennsylvania state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Knowledge of IDEA and state and federal regulations governing special education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
