Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication and language development of our students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • SC state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
