Vista Medical Center East, a Level II Trauma Center-certified Emergency Department, seeks an Emergency Room Technician to provide essential support in patient care and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Successful completion of an IL-approved CNA training program
  • Successfully completed a nursing arts course with a passing written competency test
  • Registered LPN in IL
  • Completed a U.S. military training program equivalent to a nurse aid training program
  • Successfully completed a nursing program equivalent to a LPN or RN in a foreign country
  • Deemed competent on another state's registry for CNAs
  • Graduate RN who has not successfully met all criteria for licensure
  • Current licensure as an EMT in the state of Illinois

The Emergency Room Technician will play a vital role in healthcare delivery, performing patient care activities, assisting with patient assessment, and implementing plans of care.
