Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Assistant to join our team at Mercy Clinic Willow Springs Family Medicine. As a Primary Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for visits by completing advanced standard room processes, including taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliation.
  • Assist with in-office testing, including drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
  • Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA).
  • LPN licensure.
