Position Summary
The Environmental Restoration Specialist is responsible for executing tasks assigned by the team leader, adhering to established protocols to fulfill client requirements and educate them on remediation solutions.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Efficiently loads and unloads materials and equipment from vehicles, ensuring proper cleaning and storage of tools.
  • Operates a company vehicle equipped with necessary cleaning apparatus and supplies to transport to job sites.
  • Assists in the strategic placement of air movers and dehumidifiers to effectively eliminate moisture from carpets, upholstery, and ambient air.
  • Conducts basic demolition tasks, including cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and handling various flooring materials, as well as applying fungicides and other necessary substances.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service, treating properties and belongings with utmost respect, and communicates any issues or customer feedback to the team leader.
  • Adheres to safety protocols, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, respirators, and Tyvek suits when required.
  • Keeps the vehicle, equipment, and job site clean and organized.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The following qualifications are essential for this role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs with equipment.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor and a collaborative mindset.
  • Comfortable wearing PPE.
  • Willingness to work at heights (up to 12 feet) and in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and/or certifications in the disaster restoration field are advantageous but not mandatory.
