Senior Fiori UI5 Technology Consultant
As a Senior Fiori UI5 Technology Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our consulting team, assisting in identifying and articulating client challenges, assessing various solution alternatives, and providing informed recommendations. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive design, architectural frameworks, and process documentation, as well as executing deployment strategies. You will also facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure our clients derive maximum value from our consulting services, addressing the evolving demands of the global market.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the relevant field may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
- A minimum of 11 years of experience in Information Technology is required.
- This position requires regular office attendance.
- Only candidates authorized to work in the U.S. will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lead initiatives to design, develop, and configure applications, serving as the primary liaison.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to the team and guide them through intricate development tasks.
- Proficient in translating functional requirements into technical solutions using Fiori UI5.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA architecture, its components, and integration with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Strong grasp of business processes and their alignment with SAP S/4 HANA.
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation methodologies, particularly SAP Activate.
- Proven expertise in managing dual landscapes and executing cutover strategies across various environments.
- Experience in overseeing custom code remediation, upgrades, and complex cutover processes.
- Ability to recommend processes, services, software, and tools that align with business objectives, particularly concerning user interfaces and infrastructure technologies.
- Experience collaborating closely with clients, product owners, UX designers, and usability experts to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Proficient in SAP Fiori/UI5 and Responsive Design Architecture.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori UI5 JavaScript, with the capability to develop Fiori applications using UI5 and JavaScript.
Desirable Skills
- SAP Certification in S/4 HANA or a related field.
- Exposure to Smart Templates/Fiori Elements and Fiori Theme Building.
- Possession of SAP UI5 Certifications.
- Understanding of IAM principles and mechanisms for secure user authentication and authorization for external users, along with skills in diagnosing network and security issues related to external access.
This role involves prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication through various mediums is essential.
