Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4 HANA Implementation Consultant with Performance Engineering expertise to join our team. As a key member of our QEA practice, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and applying performance and scalability benchmarks for SAP S/4 HANA implementations. Your expertise in performance testing, analysis, and optimization will be crucial in ensuring the success of our clients' projects.

Responsibilities
  • Define and develop performance and scalability benchmarks for SAP S/4 HANA implementations
  • Work with cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability
  • Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis
  • Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes
  • Plan and complete performance tests using automated testing environments and analyze results
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions and own quality perspectives for design
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven hands-on software testing experience
  • Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications
  • Candidate should have experience working on brown or green field S/4 HANA implementations
  • Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++)
  • Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, Postman)
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization, end-to-end performance, and root cause analysis
  • Experience in service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs
  • Strong knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries
  • Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques
  • Experience with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics)
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  • Experience in cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
  • Expertise in performance assessment and optimization of complex applications built on the SAP BTP platform
  • Strong understanding of BTP components (e.g., API management, SAP Integration Suit, Conversational AI, Data Intelligence)
  • Skilled in BTP technologies (e.g., Smart Data Integration)
  • Strong experience in performance testing and analysis of SCP iOS SDK mobile apps
  • Proficient in application and DB performance monitoring in SAP BTP using Kibana, HANA DB cockpit, and SAP BTP cockpit
  • Understanding of basic machine learning algorithms and principles
  • Strong understanding of relational database systems and in-memory databases
  • Understanding of algorithms and O-notation
  • Code management using Git
