Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services to commercial properties. Your expertise in HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry will enable you to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- System Inspection: Inspect HVAC systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications, and detect malfunctions in system component parts.
- Energy Management: Monitor energy management systems, investigate out-of-spec situations, and take corrective actions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in HVAC/General Maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Certifications: EPA Universal certification and valid driver's license.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The successful candidate will be required to drive a company vehicle daily.
