Job Title: CNA/Caregiver Specialist

AW Health Care is seeking an experienced CNA/Caregiver to provide specialized care to a female client in University City, MO. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly individuals with dementia and knowledge of kosher practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the client with personal hygiene, including bathing, skin care, and hair care.
  • Provide physical assistance with transfers, positioning, and ambulation as outlined in the client care plan.
  • Assist the client with prescribed non-skilled exercises and provide guidance to the client and family on meeting the client's personal hygiene needs.
  • Change bed linen and assist with laundry as needed.
  • Clear the client's path of clutter or client's room to provide for maximum client safety.
  • Prepare light meals during mealtime.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment in proper condition if needed.
  • Assist the client with self-administered medications and apply non-prescription topical ointments/lotions to unbroken skin at the client's direction.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and personal, reliable vehicle.
  • Current auto insurance.
  • Experience working with elderly individuals with dementia and knowledge of kosher practices.
