**Shifts:**
Various shifts are available, Monday through Friday and weekends. Two weekend shifts are required each month.
**Primary Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist patients with personal hygiene, such as bathing, skin care, mouth care, and hair care. Instruct patients and families on meeting patients' personal hygiene needs.
* Provide physical assistance with patient transfer, positioning, and ambulation as outlined in the patient care plan.
* Assist patients with prescribed non-skilled exercises taught by professional personnel.
* Change patient bed linen as needed.
* Clear patient paths of clutter or patient rooms to ensure maximum patient safety.
* Prepare light meals during mealtime and time permits.
* Assist in cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment in proper condition.
* Assist patients with self-administered medications (open bottles, get water).
* Shop for groceries or household items required for patients' health and maintenance.
* Apply nonprescription topical ointments/lotions to unbroken skin at patients' direction.
