Job Opportunity at Meridian Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Staff Technician to join our team at Meridian Health Services. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and administrative services to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional communication and consultation services to center staff, clients, and the general public, maintaining a professional and customer-focused environment.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments, take messages, and route calls to the appropriate extension.
  • Collect patient co-pays and payments, and perform general cashier duties.
  • Retrieve medical records from outside providers and create medical record charts for new patients, adhering to Meridian's release of information procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of secretarial or office experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to type and/or use a computer for data entry and telephone duties.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
