Position Overview
The Senior Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within designated areas, adhering to established protocols. This role involves the removal of waste, including medical refuse, and the upkeep of various flooring types, upholstery, and carpets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, administrative offices, and additional spaces in accordance with departmental guidelines. Ensure proper disposal of linens and waste materials.
- Conduct both interim and restorative maintenance on hard surfaces, carpets, and upholstery, following set procedures.
- Organize, maintain, and securely store necessary cleaning equipment and supplies to meet departmental standards.
- Engage in effective communication and collaboration with team members to guarantee seamless service delivery. Report any maintenance or specialized cleaning needs observed in the work area.
- Assist visitors and staff in navigating the facility to ensure a positive experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in a specific cleaning area while being adaptable to work across various departments as required.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public service or customer service, particularly in environments such as hotels, hospitals, or janitorial services.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification as a Health Care Environmental Services Technician is required.
