Mission Ready Reserve MFLC

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of military service members and their families with your expertise in counseling and behavioral health.

As a Mission Ready Reserve MFLC, you will provide face-to-face counseling services to military service members and their families, addressing a wide range of challenges including transitions, reoccurring moves, frequent separations, and deployments.

You will also have the opportunity to support military families and children in various settings, including schools and child development centers.

With a flexible PRN-type schedule, you will be able to step in where needed across military installations and communities to safeguard and enhance mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide face-to-face counseling services to military service members and their families
  • Recommend appropriate referrals and handoffs based on clinical skills
  • Offer presentations to address social skills development and social emotional learning
  • Build rapport with service members, spouses, and children through community events
Environment:

As a Mission Ready Reserve MFLC, you will work in various indoor and outdoor locations, including military installations, schools, and child development centers.

You will be required to traverse uneven terrain, ascend/descend stairs, and be exposed to the weather.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions
  • Valid independent license in the mental health field from any US state or territory
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Pass a basic background check and Public Trust clearance
