About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Program Manager to join our Data Center Engineering and Construction (DEC) team at Meta. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the design and implementation of complex technical projects that support our rapidly growing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex, cross-functional electrical component research and development projects from concept through to completion.
  • Drive problem statement development and create milestone schedules that lead to decisions and implementation.
  • Interface with Engineering, Facilities, Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, Construction, Network, Cabling, Security, and business owners for project requirements and scope.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, and testing phases.
  • Digest technical drawings and question the inputs of engineers across multiple technical departments to bring all information together into a cohesive executable package.
  • Manage dependencies and handoffs effectively and optimize schedules accordingly.
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
  • Conduct business process re-engineering reviews to innovate on business processes and define ways to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive continual improvement of productivity.
  • Identify areas of risk and drive solutions with subject matter experts within the organization.
  • Lead training and education programs for internal and external partners.
  • Report and drive alignment and decisions from leadership across multiple organizations.
  • Travel to offices, vendors, and datacenter sites as required.
Requirements
  • Proven track record driving results on complex problems with many stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Large scale critical infrastructure, Research and Development, and/or data center experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building relationships and driving collaboration from cross-functional teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management/Project Management.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational experience.
  • Understanding of Engineering details and the impacts of change across multiple disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with managing projects related to data center design, hardware design, and capacity management.
  • Knowledge of design, construction, network, hardware, capacity management.
  • Experience adapting and learning new skill sets quickly.
