Role Overview:

We are in search of a Senior Product Manager to guide our product initiatives into the future. This role will be situated within GoHealth's product division, where you will help define, communicate, and achieve our product vision. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development of high-value products while maintaining a keen understanding of our clients' needs and behaviors. If you thrive in tackling complex business challenges, understanding market trends, negotiating with stakeholders, conducting customer research, collaborating with design teams, and performing thorough financial and performance analyses, we encourage you to consider this role. You will report directly to the VP of Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the formulation of GoHealth's product vision and roadmap by collaborating across departments to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements that deliver value.
  • Engage with executive partners to negotiate measurable outcomes through effective communication and a collaborative approach.
  • Articulate both the overarching product vision and the specifics of technical implementation to various audiences within and outside the organization.
  • Oversee product delivery utilizing agile methodologies, including drafting, prioritizing, and approving user and technical stories as necessary.
  • Collaborate with design experts to create compelling user experiences that can be analyzed and optimized based on data insights.
  • Consult with partners and vendors on leveraging our products to achieve their objectives, guiding them towards sustainable solutions that offer broad applicability.
  • Foster collaboration within cross-functional product teams, promoting positive engagement and enhancing the capabilities of team members.
  • Provide direct management to junior product managers and indirect oversight to business, design, and engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in product management or technical leadership within a high-growth environment.
  • A versatile generalist capable of quickly mastering unfamiliar topics and clearly articulating complex issues.
  • Experience in digital product development, ideally within an Agile framework.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen to address a range of challenges in an integrated manner.
  • Proven ability to influence through effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, database systems, vendor integration, and emerging technologies.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis, with comfort in SQL and Excel (including complex functions). Familiarity with Python and Splunk is a plus.
  • Demonstrated systems thinking through education and professional experience.
