Our facility is USDA inspected and certified, allowing us to supply and deliver to various food service companies and direct box businesses, offering a wide range of products including meats, value-added items, dry-aged steaks, organic, and natural selections.
We also provide private label options and fresh custom cut portion control for steaks, specialty burgers, and ground products to food service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating meet the highest standards and are prepared promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales team for local travel to assist with product demonstrations.
- Support research and development (R&D) and product innovation.
- Aid in the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies for R&D as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation of new recipes using company software.
- Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Quality Assurance:
- Regularly supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Adhere to all food quality standards, preparation guidelines, and presentation specifications.
- Oversee food storage, stocking, and rotation to meet sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean kitchen environment, including dishwashing duties.
Qualifications:
- Safe Food Handling Certification.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, particularly Sous Vide, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time position, 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
- Flexible hours, typically daytime shifts from 8 AM to 3 PM.
- Potential for full-time opportunities.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate of $25.
