As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in systems engineering, requirements maintenance, development, and sustainment, as well as continuous process improvement, risk management, and system hardware and software life cycle sustainment and development.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze system, software, and hardware specifications and interface documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide leadership and guidance to interdisciplinary teams to resolve complex systems engineering issues.
- Design, develop, maintain, and manage requirements to ensure traceability and alignment with contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with project management to plan, report, and track status to completion for all systems engineering tasks.
- Perform Model-Based System Engineering to support the requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation associated with the development of complex systems.
- U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance prior to start date.
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with a team of systems engineers and function on multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
- Experience drafting and authoring requirements and ensuring traceability from the top level through the lowest requirement.
- Ability to ensure system requirements are aligned with all contractual requirements.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and embedded systems.
- Expertise in requirements development, traceability, and embedded systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex material to teammates, management, and customer representatives.
- Ability to work under deadlines and self-motivated to continually learn and improve.
