Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of regulatory developments within or outside the company and evolving best practices in compliance control. Conduct research on the legal requirements that apply to the company's business activities in the USA and advise on the necessary actions to comply with the laws and regulations.
  • Project Management: Lead or participate in projects related to compliance initiatives and programs in coordination with other Compliance team members located in Europe and Asia. Ensure that projects are completed on time, in accordance with corporate guidelines/standards, and within budget.
  • Ethics Line Management: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the US ethics line, ensuring that it functions effectively and efficiently.
  • Investigations: Conduct or oversee investigations into reported or detected compliance issues. Ensure that investigations are thorough and concluded promptly.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs that focus on the elements of the compliance program and seek to ensure that all employees are knowledgeable of, and comply with, pertinent federal and state standards.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Draft and revise company policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Ensure that these documents are clear and accessible to all employees and follow the corporate standards.

Requirements:

  • Between 4-7 years of experience in compliance roles as manager or similar roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Ability to work well independently and with international teams, as other Compliance team members are located in Europe and Asia.
  • Technical knowledge of privacy and AI regulations.
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to identify the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration, or a related field from a US accredited institution.
  • Certification as a compliance professional or JD is a plus.
  • Spanish is a plus.
