As a third-generation, family-owned business, they cater to a diverse array of commercial industries, prominently serving the Military, Defense, Aerospace, Medical, and commercial space sectors. Currently, their primary focus is on the Aerospace industry, particularly in defense components, while actively broadening their product offerings for both Commercial and Medical applications.
Job Overview
- Collaborate with the New Product Introduction Team.
- Analyze customer designs, conduct DFMA, and prepare quotes.
- Leverage your CNC machining expertise to develop and refine manufacturing processes.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives utilizing LEAN Manufacturing and 5S methodologies.
- Generate essential engineering documentation, including BOMs, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
- Engage with customers and collaborate cross-functionally with Production and Quality teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven CNC experience is essential.
- Experience with GD&T is required.
- A degree is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Several years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Preferred experience in regulated industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Devices, Defense).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and LEAN Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in New Product Development and Introduction, DFMA.
- Customer-facing experience in quoting and costing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and validation processes is preferred.
- Structured problem-solving skills (A3, PDCA, 8D, DMAIC) are beneficial.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish fluency) are a plus.
- Experience with SolidWorks and CAD/CAM software (Esprit, MasterCAM) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills are a must.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
