Position Overview
The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for smoothing and finishing the surfaces of poured concrete foundation pads utilizing various hand and power tools.
Project Description
This role involves civil earthwork and concrete foundation tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay based on local prevailing wage.
- Medical, vision, and dental insurance available after 60 days of full-time employment.
- Retirement plan with contribution matching up to 4% of eligible wages, available after 60 days of full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities

- Inspect forms that hold concrete to ensure proper construction.
- Set forms to the desired pitch and depth, ensuring alignment.
- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using various tools.
- Monitor environmental conditions affecting concrete curing.
- Mold expansion joints and edges using appropriate tools.
- Assist in directing concrete pouring operations.
- Create a rough surface finish using a broom.
- Apply curing and sealing compounds to the concrete surface.
- Operate equipment to compact concrete.
- Adhere to daily work plans and accurately complete timecards.
- Lift heavy materials as required.
- Understand relevant safety protocols and procedures.
Location & Work Commitments
- Project Location: Nampa, Idaho
- Project Duration: Full-time hours with potential overtime.
- Shifts: 8–10 hours, with possible evening or weekend work.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Pre-employment drug screening.
- Background check required.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
