Position Overview
The Concrete Finishing Expert will be responsible for smoothing and finishing the surfaces of poured concrete foundation pads utilizing various hand and power tools.
Project Highlights
This role involves civil earthwork and concrete foundation projects.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay based on local prevailing wage.

Key Responsibilities
This is a general overview of the responsibilities and may not encompass all duties associated with the position.
- Inspect forms that hold concrete to ensure proper construction.
- Set forms to the required pitch and depth, ensuring alignment.
- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using various tools.
- Monitor environmental conditions affecting concrete curing.
- Mold expansion joints and edges using appropriate tools.
- Coordinate with truck drivers for efficient concrete pouring.
- Create a rough concrete surface using a broom.
- Apply curing and sealing compounds to concrete surfaces.
- Operate equipment to compact concrete.
- Follow daily work plans and accurately complete timecards.
- Lift heavy materials as required.
- Understand relevant safety protocols and procedures.
Work Environment and Commitments
- Project Location – Various locations.
- Full-time hours with potential for overtime.
- Shifts may range from 8 to 10 hours.
- Evening and weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Pre-employment drug screening required.
- Background check required.
