Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team at Granite Hills Group. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for supervising and training a team of 2-4 crew members in all aspects of landscape management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Train Crew Members: Provide guidance and support to crew members to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Motivate and Inspire Team Members: Foster a positive and productive work environment by motivating and inspiring team members to achieve their best.
- Hands-on Position: Participate in hands-on activities such as weed control, mowing, fertilization application, blowing, trash removal, raking, and other tasks as required.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers: Work closely with Operations Managers to schedule, monitor, and report daily workloads.
- Manage Quality of Work: Ensure the overall quality of assigned commercial landscape properties is maintained to the highest standard.
- Safety and Compliance: Foster a strong culture of safety, collaboration, teamwork, and excellence on the crew, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Transportation: Safely drive a truck and may or may not include a trailer.
- Job Hours Management: Manage job hours and ensure accurate reporting.
- Irrigation Systems: Possess a basic working knowledge and understanding of irrigation systems.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience supervising a landscape maintenance crew with a minimum of 2 employees.
- Weather Conditions: Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Physical Demands: Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and bend and stoop on a routine basis.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid NC Driver's license, pass a pre-employment and annual MVR check, and maintain a good driving record.
- Company Policies: Must adhere to Granite Hills Group handbook policies and procedures.
