LHC Group is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Gallipolis, Ohio.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes, following the established plan of care.
  • Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
  • Observe, record, and report to the supervising OT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
  • Coordinate care with the other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.
  • Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
Requirements:
  • Current OTA licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
