Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Officer to lead our Information Security team and develop strategies to minimize risk exposure to our health system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the deployment of technical security services and solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Plan, organize, design, and implement technical security solutions to minimize risk exposure to the health system.
  • Manage the development and oversight of the disaster recovery program, including the development of strategies, roadmaps, policies, and standards.
  • Provide leadership to Information Security team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.
  • Evaluate, plan, and deliver new technical security solutions that reduce risk for the organization.
  • Develop, communicate, and build consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
  • Manage, estimate the level of effort, prioritize tasks, and report status for security technology implementations and health system upgrades.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with business units, external business partners, and key IT staff to plan, direct, control, and maintain effective disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight of all security technology-related issues enterprise-wide.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership/management experience required.
  • Security+, CEH, and Zerto Certifications a plus.
  • Familiarity with information security and disaster recovery tools.
  • High attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
