We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to spearhead a technology shared services cost transparency initiative.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee program management and coordination activities to establish and execute a systematic approach for tracking and reporting Shared Services Technology expenditures by various expense drivers.
- Conduct collaborative sessions with essential stakeholders in finance and technology sectors to gather and document requirements related to key expense categories and drivers, along with viable tracking options.
- Guide the implementation of requirements, set up necessary testing and business validation checkpoints, and manage quality assurance/user acceptance testing (QA/UAT) processes.
- Create and maintain the project plan, provide regular status updates, manage the requirements documentation/Jira board, and facilitate daily stand-up meetings.
- Challenge technology division and finance leadership constructively regarding the proposed categorization and tracking of expense drivers.
- Proven experience within a Tech CFO/Tech Finance environment at a large financial institution.
- Understanding of the various drivers of shared services technology expenses and their allocation back to business lines.
- Experience in monitoring and forecasting technology-related expenses, including CTB/RTB labor, software capitalization/IDS amortization, capital expenditures, space, third-party software, and other IP&C.
- Familiarity with technology budgets, expense/P&L management, and multi-year financial planning.
- General knowledge of key technology products and services within the financial services sector.
- Experience in facilitating sessions to gather requirements and overseeing the implementation of sustainable reporting solutions.
- Capability to manage a program comprehensively, including the development of the program plan, stakeholder coordination, status updates, and oversight of implementation tracking.
