The Remote Housekeeper position with NANA Management Services offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of remote camps and facilities.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Remote Housekeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our remote camps and facilities. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restocking hallways, stairways, offices, food preparation areas, kitchen areas, laundry rooms, clinics, living areas, work areas, off-site areas, common areas, restrooms, public areas, and other similar spaces.
  • Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, extracting, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming all types of floors.
  • Dusting both low and high areas.
  • Wiping down or cleaning various surfaces.
  • Using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions for all tasks.
  • Removing and properly disposing of discarded materials.
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment, including compacting trash.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year experience that evidences a working knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning processes.
  • At least one (1) year experience in commercial housekeeping.
  • Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements, which may include a background check and drug test.
  • As per contract requirements, must be a NANA Shareholder living in the NANA Region.
  • Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients.
  • Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
  • Must be able to be on your feet for 12 hours per shift for the scheduled rotation.
  • Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp.
  • Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read, and write English.
  • Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
