Floor Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in an outside/soiled linen barrel container.
• Perform additional outside work, including policing grounds, as assigned.
• Utilize protective gear in all functions and adhere to safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
• Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
• Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily, utilizing leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Must live in the service area.
