Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Henry Ford Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners, adjusting settings and parameters to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required, following strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies, techniques, and best practices, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry eligibility required.
  • Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS) required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
