Diagnostic CT Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Diagnostic CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, ensuring good clinical skills and providing the best possible images for interpretation.
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders, providing procedural information and education to patients and families prior to each exam.
  • Acquire accurate patient histories and document in medical records, performing CT and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment, perform quality control and quality assurance testing, and monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Ensure STAT requests are relayed to radiologists in a timely manner, maintain a clean and properly stocked exam room, and accurately use hospital computer systems.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross.
