Data Engineer for Device Analytics

Overview
The Devices Analytics team at Amazon is looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to support the development of data infrastructure and pipelines for machine learning projects. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with researchers and business intelligence engineers to design and implement analytical data infrastructure, manage AWS resources, and interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and data lakes using AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, and S3.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, accurate, and reliable data sets aligned with business needs.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
- Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
