We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Kindergarten Prep Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Kindergarten Prep Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive community.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires the creation of engaging lesson plans, implementation of hands-on activities, and maintenance of effective communication with parents and guardians. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for early childhood education, and a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Supervise and engage with students during activities, ensuring their physical and emotional safety
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through updates, newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; related college coursework or a CDA certificate is preferred
  • 1 year of experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is desired; demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is essential
  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly rate for this position is between $21.25 and $25.95 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
