ACERCA DEL ROL
El Asistente de Cuidado de Pacientes (CNA) apoya a todo el personal profesional. Las responsabilidades diarias incluyen proporcionar atención directa a los pacientes según lo indicado por el Gerente de Casos de Enfermería Registrada (RNCM). El rol del CNA se centra en mantener la comodidad y seguridad del paciente.
Horario: L-V 6:00am-2:00pm
Territorios: Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth
RESPONSABILIDADES DEL ROL
- Promover y practicar la filosofía y misión de la Familia Sage de Empresas de "Proporcionar la atención más compasiva, integral y calificada a personas con enfermedades limitantes de la vida, acompañándolas en su viaje individual con dignidad, respeto e integridad."
- Representar a la organización con integridad, sin recibir regalos ni inducimientos inapropiados.
- Conocer y adherirse a todas las políticas y procedimientos de Sage Hospice y Cuidados Paliativos, así como a los estándares de seguridad, medio ambiente y control de infecciones.
- Cumplir con HIPAA protegiendo la información confidencial del paciente.
- Demostrar competencia en las Actividades de la Vida Diaria (ADL) asistiendo en la servición de comidas, alimentando a los pacientes según sea necesario y ayudando en la movilización, giro y posicionamiento de los pacientes; así como proporcionando agua fresca y alimentos entre comidas.
- Brindar atención complementaria administrando enemas, duchas, vendajes no estériles, compresas frías, tratamientos de calor, baños terapéuticos o duchas; asistiendo con la higiene oral o masajes en la espalda y hombros, cuidado de la piel; y manteniendo a los pacientes limpios.
- Seguir el Plan de Atención (POC) establecido por el RNCM.
- Comunicar al RNCM cualquier cambio en el paciente o en el POC.
- Participar en toda la capacitación y educación continua, así como en las evaluaciones anuales.
- Realizar otras tareas según se asignen.
REQUISITOS DEL ROL
- Título de secundaria o GED.
- Un año de experiencia en un entorno de atención domiciliaria.
- Licencia/certificación de Asistente de Cuidado de Pacientes con certificación vigente en el estado de residencia.
- Debe tener transporte confiable, prueba de seguro de automóvil vigente y una licencia de conducir válida.
